BCPL celebrates World Environment Day 2025 with awareness and green initiatives

DIBRUGARH: On the occasion of the World Environment Day, BCPL’s annual souvenir titled ‘EnvicarE Vol VI’ was released to create awareness among people and students.

This year’s theme was on ending plastic pollution. The theme inculcated a message that we should use plastic products judiciously, refuse single-use plastic items, and reuse what we can.

The event was graced by Pranjal Changmai, Managing Director BCPL, Joyonto Panging, COO BCPL, Sitangshu Paul, CGM (O&M), BCPL, and other senior officials and employees of BCPL.

BCPL organized various competitions among its employees, contractual employees, and their family members to create awareness.

In line with the theme of this year’s celebration, BCPL also organized a ‘Waste to Craft’ competition among spouses and a poster competition for the employees with the theme ‘Eco-friendly modern kitchen.’

Apart from the above, BCPL organized plantation drives across all the units and townships. Drawing and quiz competitions were also organized for the children of BCPL GAIL employees.
