PATHSALA: Assam Minister Ranjeet Kumar Dass, addressing the media in Bajali, responded to the recent ticket denial controversy by stating, “BJP is not an individually-driven party. If one leader leaves, it doesn’t harm the party — it just means one vote less.” He emphasized that denying a ticket to an individual is not a major concern. “What truly matters is the party’s strength, not individual ambitions. We are in power to serve the people, not for personal gain,” Dass added. Confident about the BJP-led alliance’s performance, he claimed, “We are certain of winning 100% of the 98 seats we currently hold. Now, we aim to make that 100 out of 100.” Dass made these remarks while laying the foundation stone for 10 new paved roads in Bajali, to be built at a cost of Rs 20 crore, aimed at improving local infrastructure. His comments came amid growing focus on internal ticket allocations as the election season nears.
