Businessman killed in road mishap in Udalguri district

TANGLA: A 31-year old young businessman lost his life in a road mishap near his residence at Nobinpolly locality of Tangla town in Udalguri district on Tuesday night.

The deceased Bablu Paul (31) was riding a Pulsar bike which collided against an electric pole. He was later rushed to Tangla CHC where he succumbed to his injuries. "The victim hit the electric pole and sustained critical injuries," said a neighbour. Tangla Truck Owners Association and Tangla FCI workers on Wednesday took out a funeral procession throughout the town and paid homage to Bablu. His body was also taken to Tangla FCI office.

President of Tangla Truck Owners' Association, Prabin Hazarika, while mourning the untimely demise said, "Bablu was a promising youth who had built a position for himself in the Association. " Tangla Media Circle and All BTC Bengali Youth Students' Federation (ABBYSF) have expressed condolence to the bereaved family members.
