DEMOW: Ranjit Borah, a resident of Demow Kaliapani Lakhiminagar, is blind and works as an Assistant Teacher in 673 No. Demow Town LP School in Demow’s Janatapath. When contacted, Ranjit Borah said that he teaches the subjects of Assamese, English, and Environment at the LP School. State Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote on X (formerly Twitter) today, “On #World Braille Day, sharing the inspirational story of Asst Teacher Ranjit Bora. Despite being blind, he uses a Braille book to teach his students & has never let adversaries define him. Our Govt is actively supporting Shri Bora & many like him to live a life of dignity.”
