Cow Falls Into Open Drain in Morigaon, Exposing Civic Safety Concerns

MORIGAON: A cow fell into an open drainage manhole located in front of the Delta Public School on Friday in Morigaon’s Buragaon. After the incident, residents raised concerns and highlighted the poor infrastructure of the drainage system under the Morigaon Municipal Board (MMB). The cow had been floundering in putrid water for hours before it was discovered by this correspondent.
