CRPF IGP visits martyr Maneswar Basumatary’s home

KOKRAJHAR: Danesh Rana, IGP of North Eastern Sector of the CRPF, visited the home of martyr HC/GD Maneshwar Basumatary, a brave martyr who laid down his life for the nation on February 14, 2019 during the attack by Fidayeen militants on a CRPF convoy. The visit was a humble tribute to the martyr’s sacrifice and a gesture of solidarity with his family.

During his visit, Danesh Rana met with Veernari Sanmati Basumatari and other family members and expressed his deepest condolences for their loss. Rana praised the martyr’s bravery and selflessness for the nation. The visit was part of an initiative to pay tribute to the nation’s martyrs and their families.

 Rana emphasized the importance of remembering and honouring the sacrifices made by Shaheed Maneswar Basumatary. Veernari Sanmati Basumatari and other family members were presented a Shawl (Gamocha) and other gift items as a token of respect honouring Shaheed Maneshwar Basumatary.                   

During this occasion, IGP Rana was accompanied by Sunand Kumar, DIG (Ops) Lower Assam, Pfusazo Epao, Commandant, 10 Bn, Ravi Kumar, Commandant, 136 Bn, and CB Tiwari, Assistant Commandant, 136 Bn.
