Devastating fire breaks out in plastic industry in Kamrup district

RANGIA: Tension prevailed in and around Kamalpur when a devastating fire broke out in Mittal Plastic Industry at Alta, Kamalpur in Kamrup district on Sunday. According to eye witness, when some workers were busy in welding for the ongoing construction of the plastic industry, there was a spark and fire broke out which soon spread. Seven fire tenders from different parts of the district managed to put out the fire after almost three hours but the entire building was reduced to ashes.
