Eminent historian Purna Kanta Gogoi passes away in Demow at 89

DEMOW: Purna Kanta Gogoi (89 years), a retired Headmaster, resident of Demow Lachit Nagar, and an eminent historian, passed away on the morning of April 14. He was suffering from old-age-related ailments. His demise has been widely condoled in the area. Late Gogoi is survived by his wife, son, and other relatives.
