Goalpara Journalists Demand Protection After Nikasi Attack

GOALPARA: The Goalpara District Journalists Association on Friday held a sit-in protest in front of the District Commissioner’s office against the attack on journalists that occurred on Wednesday at Nikasi, Baksa. The scribes demanded protection for the working journalists and justice for the journalists attacked in Nikasi. The association later submitted a memorandum through Goalpara DC to the Chief Minister in this regard.
