GOLAGHAT: On the occasion of the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, the 74 Assam Girls (I) Coy NCC, Golaghat, conducted an awareness programme at Commerce College, Golaghat, on Tuesday. The event saw enthusiastic participation from more than 100 NCC cadets, who came together to raise their voices against the menace of drug abuse – No to Drugs, Yes to Life.

As part of the event, a special anti-drug pledge was taken by all cadets and attendees, reaffirming their commitment to building a drug-free society. The cadets also carried out public awareness activities, engaging with the local community and spreading the message about the harmful effects of drugs and the importance of choosing a healthy and purposeful life. The event successfully highlighted the role of youth in shaping a responsible and aware society.
