KAAC paid rich tribute to Karbi legendary figure Kajir Ronghangpi

DIPHU: The 10th homage ceremony of Karbi legendary figure Kajir Ronghangpi was observed at Kohora in Duarbagori constituency on Saturday. The programme was organized by the Arts and Culture department of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC).

EM Rupsing Teron chaired the function while MLA Joyram Engleng attended as the chief guest on behalf of KAAC CEM Tuliram Ronghang who was unable to attend due to unavoidable circumstances.

Rupsing Teron paid floral tribute and offered prayers to legendary figure Kajir Ronghangpi after whom the Kaziranga National Park has been named. The Art and Culture Department also conducted a drawing competition for school students on the occasion.
