Kumoi Anchalik Yubak Sangha in Morigaon District Celebrates Golden Jubilee

Morigaon: Since its founding in 1975, the Kumoi Anchalik Yubak Sangha, one of the most prominent cultural organisations in the Morigaon district, has united all the communities residing in the wider Kumai area, thereby contributing to the preservation and promotion of Assamese culture. On March 8 and 9 the organisation will have a two-day event at Kumoi Anchalik Yubak Sangha's grounds to commemorate its golden jubilee, which marks the completion of fifty years. The preparation for smooth organizing of the event has been completed. The publicity secretary of the golden jubilee  celebration committee  Sanu Gogoi informed to The Sentinel that on March 8 , the programme will be inaugurated by the King of the historic Kumai kingdom Suchen Bardoloi. Thereafter the flag of the organization will be hoisted by the president of the celebration committee Pradeep Deuri.
