Man found dead in field, wife and son detained in Bokakhat

BOKAKHAT: An alleged murder took place on Wednesday at Madhavpur under the Numaligarh Outpost of the local rural police station. A man was reportedly killed by his wife and son. The deceased has been identified as Prakash Gowala. His body was recovered from a field near his house.

According to police and local sources, the incident is suspected to be the outcome of a family dispute. However, the police have not yet confirmed that it was a murder. In connection with the incident, the Numaligarh Police detained the wife, Rita Gowala, and the son, Palash Gowala.
