Nagaon holds ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ rally ahead of Independence Day

NAGAON: As per directive of the Government of Assam, ahead of the country’s 79th Independence Day, the Nagaon district administration on Tuesday took out a ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ rally throughout Nagaon town.

The rally was ceremonially flagged off by District Commissioner Devasish Sharma and Superintendent of Police, Nagaon Swapnanil Deka at Nagaon Nehrubali field on Tuesday afternoon.

Hundreds of students from various educational institutions, police, central reserve police force personnel, NCC cadets, institutional heads, officials as well as employees from various government departments including district commissioner’s office participated in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ rally.
