Obituary: Benudhar Borah

Benudhar Borah, a resident of Pub Nabapur village of Biswanath
Chariali, passed away on Monday morning after a protracted illness. He was 75 at the time of his death. Born at Borigaon (Japubari) under Biswanath mouza, Benudhar Borah was a society lover since childhood. The fearless and outspoken Borah retired after rendering service for many years as the Branch Manager of Assam Gramin Vikash Bank.

He started living at Pub Nabapur after retirement. He was associated with several social organizations including Suryamukhi Moina Parijat, Mahila Raas, Bhaona, Naamghar, Gaon Sangathan, etc. He was also known as a good actor.

He leaves behind his wife, a daughter, a son and other relatives.

Biswanath Chariali Senior Citizens Association and various literary and cultural organizations deeply mourned his death.
