Oil expeller for mustard handed over to Kapili Farmer Producer Company under RKBY scheme

MORIGAON: Additional District Commissioner Anusuya Sarma on Wednesday formally handed over the Oil Expeller for Mustard machine to Kapili Farmer Producer Company Ltd under ADO circle, Jagi-Bhakatgaon under Morigaon District Agriculture Office (DAO) at a meeting held in Jagi-Bhakatgaon.

The Kapili Farmer Producer Company Ltd led by Nayan Moni Barua had availed the Oil Expeller for Mustard machine under Rastriya Krishi Bikash Yojana (RKBY)-2024-25 which the company received from the agriculture department. Addressing the farmers, ADC Anusuya Sarma said that the farmers would surely be benefited by producing mustard oil through the machine and would get an appropriate market for export and become self-reliant through it.

Speaking in the programme, DAO Ashok Kr Sarma said that the Oil Expeller for Mustard machine would also fulfil the demand of pure mustard oil in the district. Senior Agricultural Development Officer Padum Bora, media specialist Gautam Kumar Nath, Agriculture Extension Assistant Mofizuddin Ahmed, and officials of Farmer Producers Company were present at the function.
