One killed after tanker explodes at Bengenakhowa of Golaghat town

GOLAGHAT, Dec 3: A tragic accident took place at Bengenakhowa of Golaghat town on Saturday. In the accident, a person was killed when a tanker exploded while he was repairing it in the garage. The deceased person has been identified as Nabin Baruah.

On Saturday a tanker bearing registration No. NL07AA1350 was brought for repair to a garage situated at Bengenakhowa in Golaghat town. While the owner of the garage Nabin Baruah was busy in repairing works, the vehicle exploded. In the incident Nabin Baruah died on spot. According to eyewitnesses, the accident was so severe that the tanker burst away at about 100 metres in the air. The police officials of Golaghat Police station reached the spot and has started investigation.
