DHUBRI: To mark the occasion of World Youth Skills Day, a painting competition was organized among school students by Mera Yuva Bharat, Dhubri under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, in collaboration with The Humanity, one of Dhubri’s prominent social organizations on Friday.
The competition was held at R.K. Basu Bengla Bidyapith. A large number of students from various schools in the area participated. Talking to The Sentinel founder of The Humanity, Sudip Kundu informed that students who secured the first, second, and third positions would be awarded prizes and honoured in a later event.
Renowned artists Monojit Das, Gautam Sharma, and Shyamal Ghosh were present at the event. The initiative emphasized the development of students’ creativity and skills through such platforms.
