PALASBARI: In observance of World Environment Day and to mark the 51st foundation day of the Assam Pollution Control Board, the Kamrup Regional Office organized a painting competition and an environmental awareness session at Panitema Satgaon Regional High School, under the Kamrup district’s Kamalpur education block on Wednesday. The painting competition was conducted in three categories.

Over 200 students from various schools in the Panitema Satgaon region participated in the event, ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 10. Awards were presented to the top three performers in each category.

Additionally, all participants received certificates of participation. The award distribution ceremony was graced by the presence Pankaj Kumar Dutta, Senior Environmental Engineer of the Kamrup Regional Office, Pollution Control Board, Assam, along with other officers and staff of the department.
