Power Minister Bimal Bora inaugurates APDCL substation in Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR: Assam Minister of Power, Tourism etc. Bimal Bora, in presence of BTR Chief Executive Member (CEM) Pramod Boro today inaugurated 33/11 kV, 2x10 MVA APDCL substation constructed under SOPD 2019-20 at Bodofa Nwgwr in Kokrajhar. The substation was constructed at the cost of Rs 3.5 crore.

In his speech the Minister said the inauguration of substation at Bodofa Nwgwr will solve the electricity problem like power cut, loadshedding in the area benefitting the local households. He said the State government under Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma is working for all round development and welfare of the people in the State. MLA of Kokrajhar East Lawrence Islary, BTR Executive Members-Dharma Narayan Das and Arup Kumar Dey were also present on the occasion.
