NAGAON: The Rotary Club of Nagaon held its 24th installation ceremony titled ‘PRARAMBH’ at Refresko, Magna Hall, Nagaon on Sunday here. The event marked the formal installation of Aman Dassani as President and Mamta Agarwal as Secretary for the Rotary year 2025–26. The event was attended by the presence of past Rotary International Director (PRID) Manoj Desai as the chief guest, who captivated the gathering with his insights on the Rotary journey and the significance of collective service.
District Governor Nominee (DGN) Dr Danny Dutta attended as the guest of honour, offering his best wishes and emphasizing the importance of continuity and innovation in Rotary leadership.
The event also saw the presence of Assistant Governor Birendra Jain as the special guest, who lauded the efforts of the club and extended his support to the incoming team.
The outgoing President Nikesh Bhajanka expressed gratitude to all members and stakeholders for their unwavering support throughout a fruitful Rotary year. Under his leadership, the club executed several impactful projects across health, education, and community development.
In a moving and forward-looking address, newly-installed President Aman Dassani presented his vision for the year 2025–26, aligned with the Rotary International theme ‘United for Good.’ He emphasized collaboration, sustainability, youth involvement, and digital empowerment as the cornerstones of the year ahead.
The installation ceremony concluded with celebration, fellowship, and a reaffirmed commitment to Rotary’s guiding motto ‘service above self,’ a press note added.
