DIBRUGARH: On the auspicious occasion of Saraswati Puja and Basant Panchami, Sri Sri Jagannath Cultural Trust organized a series of programmes aimed at spreading divinity and establishing the temple on the global map. As part of this initiative, the trust launched a website and social media campaign to connect with devotees worldwide.

To further promote religious values, the Trust also inaugurated a Divine Shop, fostering spirituality and cultural awareness among the masses.

As a significant step in its social outreach initiative, the Trust has announced the sponsorship of 5,000 digital inverters for the poorest sections of society.  The distribution will be carried out in a phased manner following due diligence. Marking the beginning of this initiative, a pilot project was launched today, with 20 inverters, including batteries, wires, and bulbs, distributed to beneficiaries. 

The distribution was led by Rituparna Baruah, Chairman, Assam Tourism Development Corporation, in the presence of Dr Saikat Patra, Mayor of Dibrugarh, and Rakesh P. Reddy, Superintendent of Police, Dibrugarh, as esteemed guests. The meeting was presided over by Prithvi Majhi, Senior Trustee & Former Minister, while Vijay Khemani, Secretary of the Trust, conducted the proceedings.

 Addressing the gathering, he outlined the vision for the Temple’s future and extended gratitude to all donors for their generous contributions toward its development.

The occasion was graced by the presence of several prominent trustees, including Ram Sasoni, Madduri Khandait, Hari Agarwal, Dip Chasa, and Rajan Lohia, along with a host of dignitaries from various walks of life.
