SBI ATM looted at Kusumtola centre under Jamuguri Police Station

JAMUGURIHAT: An SBI ATM located at Kusumtola centre under Jamuguri PS was looted by miscreants on Saturday night. According to reports, the miscreants broke the rolling shutter and entered the ATM booth. The personnel engaged on duty at the ATM informed the Jamuguri police after arriving on duty on Sunday morning. The Jamuguri Police is conducting the investigation. The police stated that the miscreants used new technology to cut the ATM and the shutter as well. The police further stated that the thieves managed to loot a sum of around Rs 20 lakh from the ATM. It is to be noted here that another ATM located at Kusumtola was also looted by thieves three years back. No arrest in this connection has been made till the time of filing this report.
