Sensational murder at Bebejia Gaon in Golaghat district

GOLAGHAT: Sensations prevailed in Golaghat at Bebejia Gaon under Ghiladhari Police Station on Monday morning when a villager named Dipen Das alias Dibyajyoti Das was allegedly murdered by Nasiruddin Rahman. In this brutal murder case, the wife of Dipen Das and eight year-old-son was injured and hospitalized in a critical condition.

The sensational incident took place at Bebejia Village in the Athtkhelia region of Golaghat. According to the report, Nasiruddin Rahman entered into Dipen Das' house for the purpose of robbery. At that time Nasirrudin Rahman attacked Dipen Das with a sharp weapon and beheaded Dipen Das. After that he attacked Chumpi Das, wife of Dipen Das who was sent to Dibrugarh Medical College and the son has been sent to Gauhati Medical College for better treatment.

In the wake of this incident, the local people gathered in large numbers and set fire at the house of the accused Nasiruddin Rahman. The police team from Ghiladhari PS and Golaghat PS arrived on the spot and later controlled the situation. Accused Nasiruddin Rahman has been arrested and brought to Golaghat.

Villagers protested in front of the Deputy Commissioner's Office demanding stringent action against the accused Nasiruddin Rahman and provide adequate medical help to the injured victims.
