Silchar Cultural Affairs department employee dies at 35

SILCHAR: Partha Pratim Goswami, a Junior Assistant at the Silchar Cultural Affairs department, passed away in the early hours of June 15 at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital following a prolonged battle with liver cirrhosis. Goswami was 35 years old.

Hailing from Nahira near Bijoynagar under Palasbari Police Station in Lower Assam, Partha joined the Department of Cultural Affairs in 2017. He began his career in Hailakandi and was later transferred to Silchar.

He is survived by his wife, Juthika Goswami; their three-year-old son; his elderly parents; and a younger brother.
