Simanta Kumar Das assumes charge as New DC of Biswanath district

BISWANATH CHARIALI: Simanta Kumar Das, a 1995 officer of the Assam Civil Service, officially took over the charge as the District Commissioner of Biswanath district on Tuesday. Before joining Biswanath, he served as the District Commissioner in Dima Hasao district. The new DC Das took charge following the transfer of his predecessor Munindra Nath Ngatey to Dima Hasao District. Earlier, Ngatey was given a hearty farewell by the officials and the employees of the DC office.
