DHUBRI: The nationwide Journey of ‘Sri Sathya Sai Prem Pravahini’ chariots began to mark the birth centenary of Sri Sathya Sai Baba from his birth place at Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh recently. The Sri Sathya Sai Prem Pravahini chariots will traverse through six zones across the country, visiting each state as per the organizational roadmap and spiritual protocols. In the Eastern and North Eastern zones, the chariot will travel via Sikkim and West Bengal to reach Assam.
Prem Pravahini is scheduled to be ceremonially handed over to Assam by West Bengal at Boksirhath on October 1 this year. Northeast, Assam and North East Zonal President Satyen Sharma, Assam State President Dr Gakul Chandra Das, Seva Coordinator Pradeep Kumar Sharma, and Spiritual Coordinator Samarajit Das were among the distinguished who graced the flagging off of the Prem Pravahini chariots. Talking to The Sentinel, Northeast, Assam and North East Zonal President Satyen Sharma said that the journey is envisioned as a movement of love, peace, and transformation, symbolizing the teachings and legacy of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. “It aims to inspire service-mindedness and spiritual awakening among people across the nation,” Sharma further said.
