MORIGAON: In a well-attended function, the Nandalal Upadhyaya State Farmer Award-2020-21 and 2022 were presented to three noted farmers of the state – Debabrat Rava (Integrated Farmer, Goalpara), Anupam Sarma (Fishery Farmer, Gohpur) and Nilam Dutta (Bio-Farmer, Pavai) by Sitajakhala Dugdha Utpadak Samabai Samiti Ltd on Sunday at Bamunbori, Chitajakhala, Jagiroad.

The State Farmer Award-20-21-22 was organized on the occasion of the three-year celebration of 100 years 'Occupational Gou-Sewa' at Sitajakhala. Attending as the chief guest in the programme, BTC CEM Pramud Bodo said that at a time when the white revolution was still lagging behind in the State, the Sitajakhala Dugdha Utpadak Samabai Samiti Ltd. had set an example of white revolution.

State Information Commissioner as well as senior journalist Samudra Gupta Kashyap, spoke on the contribution of the Sitajakhala Dugdha Utpadak Samabai Samiti Ltd. towards white revolution. In the programme, a book release programme was led by the chairman of SDUSS LTD, Ranjib Sarma held where four books were released.
