Zubeen Garg and Papon All Set for Stage Performance this Rongali Bihu 2021

Guwahati: When it comes to Bihu, the spirit of the people of Assam is high filling the atmosphere with love, joy, and blissfulness. The people of Assam eagerly wait in anticipation as the festive season of Bohag Bihu is nearing closer. To add to their joy, two of Assam's biggest and most popular musical sensations, Zubeen Garg and Angaraag Mahanta, popularly known as Papon, is going to take on the stage and perform for the people after a long hiatus. People of Assam simply love to listen to their favourite Bihu songs being performed by their beloved superstars. 

Assam's beloved idol Zubeen Garg is going to finally perform after a gap of one year and will do 20-25 shows across the state. He urges the people to follow Covid protocol and wear masks for his live shows. He says," Last year I was not well and also the state along with the rest of the country was under lockdown due to COVID-19 pandemic. This year I wish that we could get out of this pandemic and urged people to wear a mask and maintain COVID protocols." He will be charging 5-8 lakh rupees for his live shows. 

On the other hand, Assam's darling superstar Papon is eager and excited to perform in Bihu and says, "I am very excited for Bihu this year and will take up few shows as I haven't performed in Bihu for few years in Assam. Last year the entire country was under the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic and this year we should take protocols while performing and also urged the people to maintain the same."

It would be a delight to see the people of Assam lose themselves in the melody of their favourite stars and at the same time follow safe covid 19 protocol as urged by the two megastars.
