Siddhartha, Chetana bag arm wrestling titles

Guwahati: Siddhartha Malakar and Chetana Sarma bagged champion of champion titles in men and women category in 44th State Arm Wrestling Championship which was held at the Tarun Ram Phukan Indoor Stadium here yesterday. The closing ceremony was attended by the Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Bimal Borah and he also handed over the prizes to the winners. The secretary of the Arm Wrestling Association of Assam Pran Pratim Chaliha informed the media that the state team for the forthcoming 44th National Arm Wrestling competition will be selected soon. The competition will kick off at Hyderabad from May 31.
