SHILLONG: Sensation prevails in the Gasuapara area of South Garo Hills district following recovery of the bullet-ridden body of Thedian G Momin (46 years).

The body was recovered from the Bangladesh side of International Border early Tuesday.

Sources informed that the area is approximately 15 meters inside Bangladesh on the Halughat border of Mymensingh.

According to sources, three Bangladeshi nationals had abducted Thedian on December 28 from the bordering area.

Thedian is a resident of Rasnagre Village under Gasuapara Police Station. It has been further learnt that the victim has no criminal record in India.
