Shillong: IIM Shillong concluded the 7th edition of SUSCON, its Annual Sustainability Conference on Saturday. It was weaved around the theme ‘Community, Conservation and Cooperation’.
The 3-day conference which started on November 29 concluded on Saturday with over 100 papers from leading institutions within and outside of the country covering various crucial topics including climate change, developmental economics and CSR which was presented in 15 panels spanning across 5 technical sessions.
The Conference encompassed a series of 3 sessions which witnessed stimulating ideas being brought to the forum by the dignitaries such as Mr. Tamas Varess, Corvinus University of Budapest, Hungary, Dr. K. Baharul Islam, IIM Kashipur, Prof. Ranjan Banerjee, Dean, SPJIMR, Prof. Saral Mukherjee, IIM Ahmedabad, Mr. Alkesh Wadhwani, Director, Gates Foundation, Mr. Toki Blah, Former Chairperson, Social Audit Committee, Meghalaya, Shillong, Mr. Sudipta Das, Former Partner in Charge, Climate Change and Sustainability, Ernst &Young.
