Congress Leader Mukul Sangma Says All is well

Shillong: Former Chief Minister and present Congress leader of the Opposition Mukul Sangma feigned ignorance about the alleged bid of the AICC to dislodged him from the chair.

A day after reports surfaced about AICC general Secretary L Faleiro wanting to upstage Mukul, The CLP leader told The Sentinel that he is not aware of such developments. “I am not aware of such things and the CLP is fine and united”, stated Sangma.

Stating that the liasoning with the AICC is fine and healthy as evident from the unified front of the CLP in the State, Mukul further added, “All of us are responding to the call of duty and are not aware with the developments”.

“We are committed to the people and the cause of the party”, he asserted, while rubbishing all reports of differences. The AICC general secretary in charge of Northeast L Faleiro could not be contacted for his comments.
