CRPF distributes food items to 100 families of Upper Mawprem in Shillong

SHILLONG: The C coy of 48 Bn CRPF, presently deployed at Police Reserve, Shillong, for assisting the State administration in maintenance of law and order, distributed various food items like rice, pulses, wheat, milk, salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder, sugar and tea to 100 families of Upper Mawprem, under Jhalupara police outpost here on Friday.

The whole exercise was conducted by the CRPF as part of special civic action programme in its fight against COVID-19. A day earlier, the CRPF company also sprayed disinfectant in Upper Mawprem and Jhalupara areas.
