WILLIAMNAGAR: The District Election Officer (DEO), East Garo Hills, Jagdish Chelani, has issued a notice informing that the polling parties in the district will move to their respective polling stations two days before the polling day.
According to the notice, the proposal for allowing the polling parties to move two days before the polling day has already been approved by the Election Commission of India and has been conveyed to all the DEOs by the Chief Electoral Officer of Meghalaya, stated a press release.
