Heroin seized, one held by ANTF in Umshing area

SHILLONG: Based on a tipoff that a suspect by the nickname of 'Breezy' was proceeding from Byrnihat to buy drugs, the ANTF swung into action. However, the suspect managed to escape. Subsequently, the ANTF managed to locate him somewhere in Umshing area. Accordingly, the Rang bah Shnong was contacted and after some recee , the suspect's location was zeroed upon. Accordingly, a search was conducted and the suspect George Diengdoh (23 year)s was found with three soap boxes containing heroin weighing 39.75 grams. The accused has been arrested and a case under the NDPS Act registered.
