Hynniewtrep Achik National Movement (HANM) Highlights Hardships of Mairang

Shillong: The Hynniewtrep Achik National Movement (HANM) North West Khasi Hills, on Tuesday sought the attention of Meghalaya Health and Family Welfare Minister AL Hek on the hardships faced by the people of Mairang area,

In this connection, the HANM also submitted a memorandum to the minister urging his immediate intervention to solve the problems and hardship encountered by the people of Mairang.

Leaders of HANM has informed the minister that the Mairang Civil Hospital has a shortage of water supply and this has affected the patients.

They also pointed out that there is a shortage of manpower at the hospital as there is no specialized doctor at the hospital.

The leaders of HANM after meeting with the minister informed reporters that Hek has assured them that their concern over the issue will be taken up seriously and their memorandum will be examined by the department.
