Meghalaya: Oil India Approves Rs 2.5 Crore CSR Grant for Cancer Treatment at Tura Civil Hospital

SHILLONG: Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma announced that Oil India Limited has approved a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) grant of Rs 2.5 crore for the Dishayen Foundation to install modern CO2 diode machines in the Oncology Department of Tura Civil Hospital.

"We express our gratitude to Oil India Limited for approving Rs. 2.5 cr CSR for Dishayen Foundation to install modern CO2 diode machines in the Oncology Department of Tura Civil Hospital. The CSR support will have a lasting impact on strengthening health infrastructure in the state, especially for cancer patients in Garo Hills," the Chief Minister stated.

He further emphasized the government's commitment to enhancing healthcare accessibility across Meghalaya. "The government is collaborating with different organizations with a shared purpose to further improve healthcare accessibility in the state," he said.
