SHILLONG: Meghalaya on Thursday registered 20 new COVID-19 cases, which further decreased the tally of active cases to 273, the health department said in a bulletin.

Meanwhile, the State also recorded 64 new recovered cases in the last 24 hours. With this, the total recovered cases reached 82,227. One new death was recorded on Thursday and the total number of fatalities from COVID-19 infection stands at 1,462 so far.
