Meghalaya registers 9 new COVID-19 cases

SHILLONG: Meghalaya on Tuesday registered 9 new COVID-19 cases and one new death. Meanwhile, the State also records 73 new recovered cases in last 24 hours, with this the total recovered cases reaches 83,092. The tally of active cases is 138, the health department said in a bulletin. One new death was recorded on Tuesday and the total number of fatalities from COVID-19 infection stands at 1,477 so far.
