North Eastern Social Organization (NESO) moves Narendra Modi over CAB

SHILLONG: The North Eastern Social Organization (NESO) has reiterated it’s opposition to the proposed introduction of the Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) in the region. The organization has also informed that they will send a letter to the Prime Minister to express their opposition against the CAB. Speaking to The Sentinel, Samuel Jyrwa, chairman of NESO said, “We will be sending a letter to the Central Government expressing our opposition to the introduction of CAB in the Northeast.” He said that if the Central Government implements CAB in the region, it will create instability and social unrest.
