Poshan Abhiyan Rally Flagged off in Mairang

SHILLONG: As part of the month-long Poshan Maah under the Poshan Abhiyan flagship programme, Block Development Officer, Mairang C&RD Block, V Swer flagged off the Poshan rally in Mairang in the presence of CDPO Mairang I Slong on Tuesday.

The rally was participated by students from various schools of Mairang Civil Sub – Division, PHE Office Mairang, SDSEO Office Mairang among others. The rally commenced from the premises of Khatsawphra College and culminated at Tirot Sing Memorial Hall, Pyndengumiong, Mairang.

While flagging off the rally Swer said that through this rally he hoped the message of nutrition and its various components reach the people and encouraged the students and all participants to convey the message of the importance of right nutrition, right food, clean water and healthy practices to each and every household.
