Poshan Pakhwada 2020 will be launched on International Women’s Day in Shillong

Shillong: Poshan Pakhwada 2020 to commemorate the second anniversary of Poshan Abhiyaan will be launched on International Women’s Day on March 8. The focus area of the fortnight celebration will be “Men for Nutrition – Increasing Male engagement in Poshan Abhiyaan to Improve Nutritional Indicators.”

The focal activities will be on five critical components amongst others that include first “1,000 golden days of child & Immunization, anemia prevention, diarrhea management, hygiene and sanitation and Paushtik Aahar (Nutrient Rich Food).
