Union Ministry of Labour & Employment to observe Pension Week from November 30

Shillong: The Office of the Labour Commissioner, Meghalaya, has informed that the Union Ministry of Labour and Employment will be observing “Pension Week” from November 30 to December 6 across the country. In Shillong, the formal launch of the Pension Week-cum-registration under the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maan-dhan (PM-SYM), a pension scheme for unorganized workers and NPS Traders Schemes, will be held on November 3 at U Soso Tham Auditorium, State Central Library, Shillong where Principal Secretary, Labour Department, DP Wahlang will attend as the chief guest.
