Assam Rifles conducts COVID-19 awareness campaign in Mizoram

AIZAWL: Lunglei Battalion of Headquarter 23 Sector Assam Rifles, under the aegis of Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (East), conducted a lecture on COVID-19 awareness at Chhurlung village on Monday.

The aim of the drive was to create awareness among the local population about the prevailing COVID-19 situation. The campaign mainly focused on precautionary measures and Do's and Don'ts during the COVID-19 pandemic to avoid any loss of life due to COVID-19. The lecture also covered the good practices to be followed to fight against COVID-19 like maintaining physical distancing and wearing of masks. The awareness campaign was attended by 28 locals of Chhurlung village. The villagers assured their support in the fight against COVID-19, stated a press release.
