Assam Rifles observed World Mosquito Day in Mizoram

AIZAWL: Lunglei Battalion of Headquarter 23 Sector Assam Rifles, under the aegis of Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (East), conducted a lecture at Parva, Mizoram on the occasion of World Mosquito Day recently. The aim of the lecture was to raise awareness and alertness about the disease caused by mosquitos. A total of 38 locals attended the lecture, stated a press release.

The lecture also covered various commonly inflicted injuries and measures to prevent these. The locals were given healthcare tips to protect themselves and their families from common water-borne diseases which frequently spread during monsoon and dry season.
