Assam Rifles recover foreign-made illegal air rifles' scopes in Mizoram

The Assam Rifles recovered a heavy quantity of illegal air scope of foreign origin in Mizoram.

Guwahati: Assam Rifles personnel recovered a large number of air rifle scopes in Zokhawthar of Mizoram's Champhai district while conducting an operation in the area.

The officials of Assam Rifles informed that the air rifle scopes that were recovered are of foreign origin, which includes Bushnell, Leupold, and Marcool, and are worth approximately Rs 50 lakhs.

"Assam Rifles, in a search operation on July 29, recovered huge quantities of illegal air rifle scopes of foreign origin to include Bushnell, Leupold, and Marcool, worth approximately Rs 50 lakhs from general area Zokhawthar in Champhai district", a tweet sent out from the official account of the Assam Rifles read.
