It is in turn a political front having members from the Kuk-Chin-Mizo community in Bangladesh. Among their various demands, a separate state and security in Bangladesh are the prominent ones.

In a serious allegation levelled against the Bangladesh Army, the Zo Reunification Organisation has stated that they have arrived at an agreement with Myanmar based Arakan Army for launching an offensive against the Kuki-Chin National Army.

In a statement issued by the ZORO, it has claimed that Bangladesh Rapid Action Battalion in a joint operation with Arakan Army had launched an attack on Chaihkhiang villages and other adjoining areas the previous week and abducted 9 civilians from the community.

Meanwhile, Mizoram's influential student organisation, the Mizo Students' Union (MSU) has urged the Border Security Forces (BSF) guarding the international border with Bangladesh to allow the refugees to enter Mizoram.
