Assam win 3 medals at Khelo India Weightlifting League

GUWAHATI: Assam secured three medals at the Asmita Khelo India National Weightlifting League held at Modinagar on Saturday. Parishmita Gogoi clinched the gold medal in the 44kg category, while Aisangfa Gogoi also struck gold in the 81kg category. Adding to the state’s medal tally, Riyamoni Boro of Golaghat won the bronze medal in the 48kg category.
