Assam football team qualifies for upcoming National Games (NG) in Uttarakhand

GUWAHATI: Assam football team secured qualification for the upcoming National Games (NG), scheduled to be held in Uttarakhand next year. The All India Football Federation (AIFF) selected eight teams each for the men’s and women’s categories based on their performances in the 2023-24 season.

The eight teams that qualified for the men’s football competition are Uttarakhand, Services, Goa, Manipur, Mizoram, Kerala, Delhi, and Assam.

The football tournament will be hosted in Haldwani and is expected to kick off on February 3, 2024.
